If you have completed your medical assistant training, you should pursue taking the certification examination in order for you to become a certified medical assistant. The certified medical assistant exam is what you should apply for and pass to be able to get the certification. You can ask your school regarding this to give you some ideas about the requirements and the place where you have to go to submit your application. You may also contact your state and inquire about the department responsible for giving this exam. Or ask the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs.
