Differences in Rate of Learning

After I had worked in my area for a while, I began to train new employees coming into the area. One thing I noticed is the striking difference in the speed with which different people learn. I myself had absorbed my skills training very slowly. This became an advantage to me as a trainer. i was able to sympathize with the slow learners.  I was amazed at a few employees who seemed to learn the job very quickly. One in particular seemed to be able to do the job almost immediately.  Trainers should be able to assess the needs of their trainees and respond.
