For parents who are thinking of giving their kids live ant farms but are afraid that this may hurt their kids, no need to worry because live ant farms are safe and the enclosure was built with enough support. Make sure that you feed the ants regularly and you can give them sweet sugar syrup or even water with mixed sugar. Ants can survive for a very long time without food but they will never survive without water. Don’t flood the colony because this will kill them. Always remember that ants need water to survive so it would be better to always dampen the soil but not too much.
