The origin of these tumors is as yet unknown, although histologic studies indicate that they do not arise from the alpha or bet cells of the islets. The typical tumor is composed of rather uniform cuboidal cells arranged mainly in strands and ribbons or occasionally in sheets and clumps. The nucleus is oval and has one more round nucleoli. The cytoplasm usually contains fine stippling and irregular vacuoles, but no secretory granules have been identified.ICD 10 Coding.makes you spend more time with patients and increase the quality of the care.
