Computer Audio

It is hard to imagine a computer without audio as it has become a large part of computer entertainment. Imagine playing your favorite video game without sound. It would be impossible. Many computers consist of internal sound cards. This could mean that the device is on-board (attached to the motherboard) or you have a PCI device installed. If you are not hearing any audio make sure that Windows (or whatever OS you are using) is not set to mute. If you are unsure if you have a sound device installed simply check in the Windows device manager under “Sound, midi and game controllers”.
