Be Smart and Use a Safari Guide in Africa

December 7, 2009 on 10:47 am | By | In Travel

Have you ever been on an African Safari? My brother returned from one last week. Wow, did he have some wild stories to tell! Being the big, bold man he thinks he is, he rented a car from car rental durban, and made a solo trip to the jungle. He was so involved with following the elephants around that he didn’t pay attention to where he was going. He landed in a big mud puddle, and got stuck. Well, the elephants didn’t like him in their watering hole so they started throwing their trunks up in the air and hollering. Good thing a real safari guide was leading a group a few feet behind him. The guide saved the day!

A Wonderful Vacation For All

December 7, 2009 on 4:19 am | By | In Travel

Some people choose various vacation spots for specific reasons and with certain activities in mind. Perfectly content with their plan of action, what happens when the desire for something new and fresh presents itself. What happens when the resort has becoming boring with spa treatments and a sense of fun filled life is missing? The Canary Islands holidays has been prepared for that scenario since its introduction to the world and its popularity with its guests. With islands for everyone, events for all ages, and activities for all wants and needs, the Canaries fail to disappoint and succeed at satisfaction on every level. A holiday or vacation here is a delight and never forgotten experience for everyone.

An Old High School Crush

December 3, 2009 on 6:45 pm | By | In Travel

I saw this guy whom I haven’t seen in years. We went to high school together. I have to admit I had a little crush on him in High School but he wouldn’t give me the time of day. He was really shock to see me because he was the pilot of the aircraft charter service I was using. He actually noticed me before I noticed him. I told him I was the president of a fortune 500 company and I was actually doing very well. He asked for my number but I declined. I’m no longer a school girl and he’s no longer that handsome young man.

A Hotel for My Family

December 1, 2009 on 9:10 pm | By | In Travel

I would like for my children to experience all kinds of different cultures. I thought that I should take my family on a nice trip to hong kong. I decided to look into air costs and hotels in hong kong. I did not know what to expect regarding the pricing of different hotels. I was thrilled to find a hotel near shopping places that could accommodate my entire family. Once I had found the perfect hotel for my family I was thrilled. I knew that this would be a trip that my family would be talking about for many years to come.

Getting Around During Rome City Breaks

December 1, 2009 on 6:10 am | By | In Travel

Become aware of your transportation options during Rome city breaks. Walking is the best way to get around Rome, however the city is quite spread out. Taking in all the sights will require some public transport. Sightseeing buses are a convenient way to see the city. Taxis are expensive and difficult to hail. If you are out late at night, many bars will phone a taxi for you. Rome provides a very good public transport system. Keep in mind the buses and trams can be slow and crowded with metro travel being limited. However, the buses and trams run close to the Coliseum, the Vatican and Trastevere. Inexpensive riverboats are available with dinner cruises.

A Travel Money Assignment

November 26, 2009 on 2:31 pm | By | In Travel

My son came home from school the other day with an assignment that got me thinking. It was about foreign currency, and how much travel money you would need to visit a certain country, which the kids were allowed to choose. Anyway, it got me thinking about how I’ve never been out of the country, and about how amazing it would be to see another part of the world. So my husband and I have started planning a trip to Iceland this summer, which is where his ancestors are from. We haven’t told the kids yet, but I know they will be so excited.

My Family Is Going To Stay At Our Tavira Property

November 25, 2009 on 3:25 pm | By | In Travel

I am in my last year of college and soon I will be graduating.  My dad has promised me a really special graduation present, and he told me we could have a big family vacation anywhere in the entire world that I wanted.  Well, I chose to go back to our Tavira Property.  With life being so busy, it has been about three years since we have been there and I miss it so much.  The town is so quaint and charming.  The locals are awesome to us, the rich local history is so intriguing, and I just feel like it is my second home!

I can’t believe that our vacation has come around so quickly. It seems like only last week we were planning it but 3 months has gone by. My wife and I are heading to New Zealand for our first big overseas trip together. I have booked most of it online, I found a car thru car hire new zealand and my wife found our hotels on the net as well. We have been reading all about New Zealand and looking at loads of pictures and we just can’t wait till we get there. The lakes, rivers, mountains, forests all look amazing. It’s going to be a great vacation!

The Pleasure of Belize All Inclusive

November 19, 2009 on 1:15 pm | By | In Travel

Every time I visit Belize, I feel amused. There?s no other country in Central

America with such variety and beauty. In order to enjoy it even more, you can

choose from many Bbelize all inclusive options. Even though it?s a small country,

it has some of the finest resorts in Central America.  The Belize all inclusive

hotels are absolutely great. The packages Belize that the all inclusive hotels

and resorts have to offer are simply the best. From scuba diving to guided tours

to Mayan ruins. From Beaches such as Cucumber Beach located in San Pedro to

surfing and sailing.
