They go right after the hard songs and then get discouraged when they can’t figure out how to play them but this isn’t a good strategy at all. If you couldn’t swim would you run and jump in the deep end of the pool? No of course not and the same goes for learning a new instrument. Start small with a Guitar Lesson Book and work your way up from there. It isn’t always the most fun at first but you’ll thank yourself in the end.
