Susie Loves To Do Hair

October 29, 2009 on 2:54 am | By | In Miscellaneous

Years have gone by since I’ve seen my friend Susie. Susie is one of my childhood friends that I grew up with in my neighborhood. We always used to spend time together and do each other’s hair. Susie loved hair, and wanted to pursue hair styling as a career. The last time I saw her, she was back from hair styling school and was looking for some work in our neighborhood. As her gift for graduating from the school, I gave her a chi curling iron just to show her that I really do appreciate her friendship and her loyalty.

Operating a taxi or minicab, which is also know as a personal Hire auto, legally will mean that you are going to need to have the correct sort of valid insurance. There are several different taxi insurance options available to meet individual and company wishes.

The amount of vehicles needed to represent a fleet varies considerably between insurance companies

Even if you only have two or three taxis it is worth snooping around online to see if a fleet insurance is available. The great advantage with many taxi fleet insurance is that all different types of vehicles can be insured.

Visiting Papamoa Holiday Homes

October 28, 2009 on 11:12 pm | By | In Travel

When in New Zealand there are a number of great places you could stay. I highly recommend the Papamoa Holiday Homes. The homes can accommodate single travelers and large families alike. You could even travel with a group of friends and have even more fun. The locale is unique and breathtaking. There is plenty of entertainment in the area or you could just sit back and relax on the beach. It is your choice. The possibilities are endless. The only limitation to enjoying your stay is you. If I ever visit New Zealand again, I would not hesitate to stay there.

What to Look For and What to Avoid to Choose a web designer

October 28, 2009 on 12:05 pm | By | In Business

Most credible web designer and companies will post client testimonials on their web site. These are an indication that the designer is experienced and that past clients have been pleased with their work. Beware of an extensive list of testimonials with no customer information such as company name or a link to the web site. Most web site designers will link their customer’s testimonials to their sites so you can verify that they’re in fact a satisfied customer. Call or e-mail the references and ask how their experience was with the designer and if they were happy with the work. This could appear like a lot of work but having a web site expertly designed is a monetary investment and an important one to your business. It’s sensible to do your homework before jumping into anything. Contact info A designer displaying only their email address and website address as contact information is not awfully credible and you must request and confirm the designers contact information before paying for or putting a deposit down on your design services.

My Mirror Tells Me When My BMI is High

October 28, 2009 on 10:12 am | By | In Health

I work in a hospital and lately there’s been a big educational push to have all the employees take an “Aware of Your Own Health” survey.  Everyone seems to be particularly interested in known their BMI number.  If you don’t know what that is, it stands for body mass index.  Basically this number tells you if you’re overweight.  Oh my survey, I refused to answer the question asking, “what is my BMI?”  I figure I don’t need that number to tell me if I’m overweight or not, I just have to go find a mirror and if it wasn’t quite hones with me, my clothes would have something to say.

Picking One Out

October 28, 2009 on 9:58 am | By | In Health

I have recently gotten interested in online wine clubs. I have heard about them in the news and thought they looked like a great idea. I love to try different types of wine but going to a liquor store can be so overwhelming. I would love to come home on a Friday night and find a great selection of wine waiting at my door. That would be a perfect start to a great weekend. I have seen several and we are going to try to pick one out today and join this weekend. I can not wait to get my first shipment.

The Nonin ONYX Will Keep You Alive

October 28, 2009 on 7:17 am | By | In Health

I never thought that I would be saying this, but I a small piece of medical equipment helped keep my husband out of the hospital a few months back when we thought that some things might be going downhill.  He is older in age now and cannot always express what kind of shape he is in.  That is when we reached for the Nonin ONYX to get a heart rate on him. The monitor let us see that he was coming off something, rather than progressing for the worse.  I love how handy this little device is, and how easy it is to use.

Obama Foreclosure Plan – Will It Succeed?

October 28, 2009 on 6:18 am | By | In News

Many opine that the effects of the President’s foreclosure fix were due to a lack of insight in basic economic theory. The haste with which the Obama foreclosure plan was developed will not help the country in the end, as it will only result in short-term relief, some critics say. However, the policies have helped many homeowners get back on their feet, with the foreclosure contingency plans covering more loan modifications, lenient approval requirements, and better restructuring. The administration continues its optimism, as the Obama foreclosure bailout claims to have already reached its target within the expected time frame, with more than half a million loan modifications achieved well before the deadline.
